Singing & Songwriting Workshops
Our singing and songwriting workshops help your team embody music, express themselves and create in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. Our programs are highly interactive and incorporate fun singing games and body movement that gets us up and moving around, immediately. NO music ability required!
Singing builds self confidence, promotes self esteem, always engages the emotions, promotes social inclusion, supports social skill development, and enables people of different ages and abilities to come together successfully to create something special in the arts.

About: Bring the team together and work on musical activities. Through body percussion and group singing see members build their coordination, challenge their musical ideas and knowledge, and connect in a whole new way.

About: Learn a song in 90 minutes. Learning how to listen to each other, sing in harmony and together will have your team come together to create a beautiful piece of music.
COMPONENTS:
Coordination: Fun singing games that are interactive that'll bring your team closer together. Building on coordination, movement and performance.
Educational and Wellbeing: Learn how to breathe efficiently and effectively - breathing exercises can be used to calm nerves, build core strength and relief stress.
Leadership: Basic conducting skills will give leadership opportunities to members in the team too and have your group working cohesively together.
Ending: Finish with a sing off

Bring your team together to write a meaningful song as a collective. Songs can be based on your organisation’s purpose and values, or the key messages of your event. Imagine your attendees singing the song that they wrote collaboratively at the end of your conference or event. This is an unforgettable bonding experience that will leave everyone on a high.

Our Contemporary Choir is an awesome programme which covers pop, rock and blues songs. Taught in a relaxed environment we make the arrangements easy for everyone to grasp and have a sing along with. These are 1 hour workshops where we project the words onto a screen for all to follow along with. We could even do a "Battle of the Choirs" were each Y team face off at the end of the day. How fun!
Drumming Workshops:
Designed for absolute beginners, your team members will be playing along within minutes. Drumming in a group demonstrates the powerful dynamic and strength of playing together as a team.
Our workshops are totally hands-on with every participant having use of a drum or percussion instrument throughout the session. Our experienced facilitators will teach drumming basics, hand techniques, several rhythms and games throughout to keep it light and fun.
Drumming activities are universal and can be used with groups of mixed cultures, languages and backgrounds. No musical experience is required to take part in these workshops.
